with 520 you can drop some rotational weight and drive train weight which equals to more power you can get to the ground.

when you swap to a 520 you not only loose weight from the chain but you can goto an aluminum sprocket in the rear and a lightened sprocket up front....lots of options

I highly recommend.

also you if you swap over to 520 you can maybe change your gearing to suit your riding and get some more acceleration if you'd want it.

Unless you are racing there is no real advantage.

It's cool because there are many different aftermarket 520 sprockets, chains, colours, etc that are available to choose from. The parts are lighter but they will wear faster if they are aluminum.

I will get a 520 setup after my stock stuff starts to go here shortly.
