Ive just recently got into bikes LITERALLY 3 months ago and decided to take my 05 10r to the local 1/8th for the 2nd time. My mods are the same as last time other then my front sprocket i went from a 16t to 15t. I added a air shifter today and will be trying that out this up coming weekend.

5-6 inch stretch lowerd 1.75 in the front and unknown in the back
shinko stealth street tire not the u soft on 12lbs
15t/42t
full tsukigi exhaust
k&n filter
p/c 3 usb and p/c ign mod mapped for someone elses bike
Launching from 7-7.5k this was my best pass out of 5 runs last week this week i was launching from 6 and trying to learn how to slip the clutch

This was my best run out of 5 from last weekend (first time on the track in my life lol)

This was my 3 runs from yesterday....1st run my bike came up on me and ive never had one come up so it scared me lol

still working on that 60ft lol hoping for 6.20's or better this weekend with the air shifter and better launching

nice times man your inproveing every time you go out and thats says alot :thumbsup: keep workin on them 60 and 330 times and how did you like the 15t vs the 16t on the front.

SO far i love it! It feels much better on the bottom and its easier to launch. A guy whos deep in the 5's on motor with his 10 suggested it to me untill i go internal. He said a 15/44 would be ideal. Im at 15/42 gonna go up two more soon though i will deffinately let you know the outcome.

welcome to the sport, youre doing great. dont get too hung up on mods with ur setup to go quicker, getting comfortable, smooth, and developing your clutch hand will take care of that. be safe and have fun, good racing.:welcome:

thanks gazx10, im gonna try this 87 octane debate and see if it puts me around 6.0's

yea i said the same thang compared to the 16t :mrgreen: also your next time out try a lil more rpm on the launch and try to get that throttle lock asap and let us know how it goes man.

started launching for 9k now that i got a strap on the front and went 6.1 yesterday 60fts still suck though, 1.7's

let that clutch hand go man :mrgreen: and get that throttle lock asap and watch them 60ft's go down.
