Was looking into doing the oem race cams swap on my 2016 zx10r kawasaki only offers the intake cam and not the exhaust so my question is ..... is this due to performance loss with both race cams in and just the intake cam is beneficial :badteeth:

for me the bike is fast enough after flash. no need for the camshaft. what are you going to gain 5hp and itll all be in the top end. flash the ecu and enjoy it.

Kawi doesn't offer an exhaust cam, meaning the the profiles are already optimized on the exhaust side and there's no benefit to changing them. At least in conjunction with the intake profiles.
Drop the converter off the exhaust you will lose about 10lbs

I know on the gen 4's for a while the kit cams offered by Kawasaki didn't give you any performance gains unless you really did some head work and went with a thinner head gasket. Probably why they only offer the intake now. The stock cams in the 11+ 10r's are what any other bike would call "race" cams anyway. These things are lobbed out
