Hey guys, I sold my 3rd gen 10R because I did not enjoy it at all compared to my 1st gen. There is now a local listing for a 2012 ZX-10R with 7,500 miles and the guy is willing to take $7800 for it. The bike looks like it's in showroom condition with a Taylor Made exhaust on it. Everything else is stock... I'm ready to pull the trigger on this one, but need some input on whether this is a good price and if there is anything in specific I should look for? I'm in the SF bay area for reference and not too many 10Rs in my color of choice pop up for sale here. (They also don't seem to hold their value for some reason)
You could hold out for a better deal but thats not the worse deal out there. Earlier this year in the bay a pristine one with 500 miles went for 7250...
I just paid 1500$ plus traded my 180000 miles 350z full bolt on and dyno tuned. It KBB at 4800. He was asking 9k it's a zx10 gen4 with 6250 miles full list of mods.
I don't know why they point out original OEM fairings... Is everything else bad? Lol. That's worth 7 if tires are new.
