2011+ zx10r restrictions

hi everybody :hello:

probably asking a question which has been asked a million times before but I cant get any definitive answers anywhere.

is the 2011+ ZX10R restricted in 1st 3 gears? and if so is it by retarded ignition or STP?

Yes, all gears by both STP and timing as well as a reduced Rev limiter.

Mostly. The timing isn't really a factor in the restrictions. Kawi uses the Secondary Throttle Plates and a lower redline to restrict the Gen 4. They don't retard the timing. And it's all gears as stated.

The timing is retarded about 10 degrees compared to the euro map

Is the timing really retarded in the US? Or are the Euro model's advanced? Hmm.

Lol the euro spec has 4 degrees more advance in the upper rpm range
Thank every 1 for the info ? Forgot to mention i have a EU bike, i got the woolich racing usb v2 but havent got round to pluging it in yet but atleast now i know to open the STP further up the throttle possitions. safer than playing about with timing too much lol
