The OEM eye to eye 1.8 for the U.S and 3.5 for UK bikes, Cali is .098.

I had mine upgraded now it's set at 4.2 It's awesome. :eek:ccasion1

I just now opened this thread and the first thing that came to mind when you asked for an eye to eye measurement were the dogbones.

Why insult someone that is trying to help you? Makes no sense

MM, who makes that alignment tool?

My setup to measure rear wheel alignment is fabricated and although accurate, it's a bit of a pain...

If you would stop acting like someone with a "runny nose"* I would have told ya and all this extra strife wouldn't be necessary.

So here ya go. 13 9/32" or 333mm

I drew it in pictures for ya.

Here it is, measured stock eye to eye!
You rock! :eek:ccasion1

I just checked MUZZYs website. They still show that tool as still available, but gosh almighty they want $149.00 for it. I think I paid half of that for mine, about 15 years ago.

Works great for the chain, setting sag, and checking "stock eye to eye".

On the chain I just adjust it using the swing-arm marks, then measure the left side with the alignment tool and adjust the right side chain adjuster so the cones fit the same measurement, whatever it may be. Makes a perfect aligned chain.

Its a great tool.
I used to have one similar, but I sold it years ago.

Thanks for the info. I might order one in the spring. $150 is steep, but thats a nice one.:eek:ccasion1
