Hello, so i have a 2007 ZX10R, bike all of a sudden didn’t wanna start after going to the store, clearly was a dead battery, i got a jump and ran fine all the way home and when i got home i turned it off and tried to turn it back on and wouldn’t start. Just a slight background i have basic mechanical skills and knowledge, i believe The battery is just shot, just looking for some opinion other than mine.

Welcome!

The only reason the battery is on the bike is to provide power for starting. If the bike won't start, the battery is not providing the power needed. So, jump the stater off another battery or charge up the battery. You did that and everything is fine. That indicates the alternator and regulator/rectifier are working and attempting to recharge the battery and power the bike. You didn't say how far you rode the bike home after that, but if it stayed running for more than about 20 mins like that, then everything is working fine.

Replace the battery.
