That's a fair amount of dosh people are paying for the LE over a standard R1. For $6,700 I'd expect a lot more than really just Marchesini wheels, and Ohlins suspension.

Here's my rounded tally (might be able to get better pricing if u shop around):

$11,299.00 Base blue R1
$2,100.00 Marchesini forged AL wheels
$1,000.00 Ohlins rear shock
$2,200.00 Ohlins R&T forks
$300.00 Pirelli Diablo Corsa Tires
(Total: $16,899)

Premium paid is $1,110
You could probably sell the stock R1 items on your base R1 and recoup conservatively speaking $1,000.

Those exhaust covers must be made of real gold or something!

Also, I just noticed on their website, that the R1 picks up 3 horsepower to a total of 172hp?

You think the extra thousand could be for the slipper clutch you seemingly forgot to mention Rspec

This is the fore runner of all zx's out there. the triple. It was a killer bike back in the early 70's. Yamaha had the rd 350/400, but nothing like the green streak.
That's my street track H1 dude.I also have an Yamaha Rd 400 (track only). The Rd power does not even came close to the H1 power.
