+100 on steering dampner and ditch the crappy stock calipers for pair of nissin calipers off 07 up zx6r or 06 up zx14r, direct fit with way better stoping power.

You know what, I'm just going to say it, those caliper suck. Too grabby. They are, if I remember correctly, 32mm x4 pistons and too grabby. Find calipers with 34mm pistons or 34/32mm and pair them with a radial 19mm MC.

Sadly limited options if color matters.... really wanted the blue/purple damper...... ended up ordering bitubo in black

I would also consider the front brake caliper upgrade (and braided lines) a "must do" item because the stockers are terrible - plenty of threads out there on which ones to get

Yeah, if you want the best power and feel, use a 19mm radial MC and 34/34 piston calipers. A lot of guys use a 19mm MC and 32/32 ZX14 calipers which makes for touchy/wooden/grabby feeling brakes.
