Welcome! Looks like you've got a nice, unmolested example there.

Yep, looks pretty much bone stock. Check for rust in the gas tank, and there is usually sludge in the fuel filter if it's been sitting that long.

Having gone through it now, the #1 thing this bike needs imo is updated front brakes

How much? Prices seem to be creeping up, saw a red one on cycletrader recently

Cost me $7500 🥴 not much of a steal or perfect but this is my favorite color, mileage was low and it seemed well kept up with. They want 6k right now for decent ones with 30k on them so oh well 🤷‍♂️ Had the tank off already and couldn’t see any in there. Didn’t check the filter while I was in there but she runs smooth. I want to upgrade the brakes soon.

I picked up a Delkevic and happy with it - not too loud, price is right, similar to stock except shorter
Stubby 14" Carbon Fiber Oval Muffler to fit ZX-10R NINJA (2004-2005)
👍 I don’t mind how loud the Voodoo is I just don’t want it to run like shit. I have a dyno appt on Saturday so we’ll see how she runs then I guess 🤷‍♂️

You can order just the mid link pipe from Delkevic and fit many slip ons out there
Didn’t realize that was an option, but thanks for the tip.
Let us know if she leans out up top but I thought slip-ons were fairly safe (?)
I had it on the dyno earlier today. No fueling issues 👍

What power did it put down?
Put down 159 hp and 79 ft-lbs. Tuner said I'd probably have a couple more if I'd have just gotten 89 instead of spending $6.23 on 93 on my way over 😂 anyway all dyno's are different and I was more concerned about getting the right ratios. This thing rips considering I weigh about 140 lbs.

Hmmm, compression is high enough in this engine to require 93 as far as I know, I think your tuner is on drugs

160-165 is about average and yeah plenty for the street with a bike this light. Aftermarket air filter would probably net you a few more ponies

It has a K&N intake filter, pair block offs, secondaries and exhaust valve removed so 🤷‍♂️
Mint condition! Awesome machine. Welcome aboard.
👋 Thanks!

Does anything aside from the filter actually add power?
I’m under the impression that removing the secondaries just adds throttle response. Block off plates just allow it to be tuned by stopping the airflow into the exhaust that would allow any excess fuel to be burned. I thought the exhaust valve might add 1 or 2 because I thought it closed at higher rpm to keep emissions in check.
