Not much happening in the Strip Section lately and I know it's hot out there but we hit a little cold spell today in Sacramento(high 82) so 1killer and I went to the strip today.

I have a few Pics and one video taken by my son. We only got 3 passes in today but it was nice to at least get some practice and we had a good time as well representing Kawi.

Here is vid of me racing a ZX14 guy does 9.7s faster than me but it clearly shows if you snooze you have little chance to catch the faster rabbit out the box. PS....pay no mind to my Son I think him and his best friend were shocked I took down the 14. :dontknow:... the ZX14 guy seemed a little pissed we left early I think he wanted some payback

Not really yes I was moving but at 230lbs geared I am pissed stretched bike and slow and 1killer is catching up to me to easy on the back half...that ends next time .....good news on a diet now lost 7lbs in the last 2weeks starting to weight lift again hope to get down to 190lbs by end of Sept and more beyond that time frame. what I do like about my times is winning against shift assisted bikes to my foot shifting.:thumbsup:

how much are you guys lowered in the triples? I was thinking about lowering mine more, Im about a 10mm drop, just dont want to risk damaging anything by being too low

better than what I ran last night, but I had a blast, and it looks like you did too, and thats all that matters in my book

You're going a lot faster than I've figured out how to do ... can't figure out how to get below 10.7. My bike is stock exhaust and original clutch and with 70,000 km on it, which probably is not helping. Also not helping is that I've been focusing more on my roadracing efforts this year and only had the zx10r out once to the drag strip.

Had more success with the roadracing though. Pic only visible if you have facebook but since most people are on there anyways ... http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151095684431066&set=t.519359805&type=1&theater

I will say that the dragrace start practices helped with the roadracing launch, and that helped with this race ... I beat a 1989 GSXR750 to corner one off the start with my 400 and then I just had to maintain the lead ...
