I searched but couldnt find anything,

Recently moved from AK to Maryland last year had a good riding summer (thou plagued with overheating issues etc) FF to now , I have a MD license so i had to make my bike legal and the cheapest alternative is to go street fighter.

So my question is Can i use a Z1000 headlight and it wire up with the stock 1gen headlight?

If I'm not mistaken,
The Z1000 has a single headlight verses the ZX10R's 2 headlights.
I'm sure you could make a custom loom using the power for the low beam and high beam and tie the grounds together.
Just put power to the new headlight and see which lead makes the high beam shine and hook it up accordingly

yup, the high beam switch needs to be rewired too(as it only acts as an on/off for the high beam, not hi-low that the Z1000 runs)...easy to do though.

I did this for my 04 ZX10...and for my 05 ZX6R
