Well, since Kawi is going for a much harder to find and not so standard size (190/55ZR-17) for the new ZX-10R rear, I was looking and found these Pirelli Diablo SuperCorsa Pro SC available.
190/55ZR17M/CTL 75WSC1 DRGSCP

190/55ZR17M/CTL 75WSC2 DRGSCP

190/55ZR17M/CTL 75WSC3 DRGSCP

Can anyone tell me what the difference between the SC1, SC2, and SC3 is?

I'm sure Dunlop will have the new size OEM on the bike when it's out.
Hoping that the Michelin Pilot Powers and Pilot Sports will have them out soon too as many suggest that these are the top tire now. Can anyone tell me what the HPX for the Pilot Sports mean? Why are they both HPX and without the HPX listed?

So I've been told the the SC is for the softness of the tire compound. 3 being softest.
edit: I've just read that it's the other way around on another forum. 1 is the softest and 3 is the hardest (3 is considered endurance).

Anyone know what the (P) in the 2 types of Diablo tires below means?
190/50ZR17M/CTL(73W)(P) DIABLO

190/50ZR17M/CTL(73W) DIABLO

edit: Found that the (P) is for the Huyabusa.

Or the (H) in these Diablo Corsa tires:
190/50ZR17M/CTL(73W)(H) DCORSA

190/50ZR17M/CTL(73W) DCORSA

I think the (H) is for the R1

For anyone that doesn't know and is looking for the info.
SC0 is super, super soft
SC1 is super soft
SC2 is soft
SC3 is endurance

The new bike in the press release pics shows Bridgestone BT016, so I take it this will be the latest successor in the BT012, BT014 etc range.

I've been happy with Bridgestone BT012s in the past, so I take it BT016 should be pretty good, atleast a hell of alot better than the Dunslops. Of course, I'm hoping Michelin will come to the party and make a Pilot Power in the 190/55 size to suit. Mmmm .... Power ...
