well i was at the kentucky derby this weekend. I was tring out 15t 42t for the first time its 1\8 TRACK OHIO VALLEY. I really like that 15t 42t my best all weekend was,
60ft 1.53
330ft 4.0402
594ft 5.7323
1\8 6.1110
1\8 mph 118.81
not to bad for the first time gunning that 15t I was running 16t 42t.
with more seat time i think im going to run some good low 9s im about 195. im happy for now:thumbsup: with pump gas

that combo worked well for me last year on stk motor we'll see what happens this year !!

Thats what I run -2 +2! One guy told me to go -1 +5 (16/45). About the same ratio but he says its a little easier on the sprockets and you get a lil more top end. *This is on a 06. Gearing is a lil different than 04-06.

yep thats what i am going with 16t 45t, but before i buy a 60 buck gear i thought i would do the 15t for only $15 bucks.
man i cant wait to see what it will do in the 1\4 now, my bike is 64'' full ti force,power command, lowered thats it i was still leaving at 7gran
what gears come on the 06 17t 40t?

i might be changing my mind on this gearing combo!! i took mine to the track today and it jumped chain real bad ( i just swaped to non oring ) I had to tighten so tight for it not to jump i think it was effecting my shifting on top end Im going back to a 16 on front so i can loosen chain also i ran out of gear right about on the line @149.45

I was thinking about going with 16t 45t but now from what your saying it might be better 16t 44t.

i havent ran the 15t 42t in the 1\4 yet only in the 1\8 last week, i want to see what it do in the 1\4 before i try that 16t 44t. but I will let you know if you try it before me let me know.

i have 16 47, an love it, i only race 1/8th mile thoe, best run was 119mph at 6.01 with a 1.6 60 ft not bad i guess for my first time, on the new zx, i have a gsxr1000 i race all the time....

15/41 worked good for me .. I didn't like the 15 tooth on the front so i went to a 16/43 but ran a bit slower with it .. I think a 16/44 would do the trick ..

I tried a 15/43 and all I saw was the moon .. Just to much gear for me ..

i think im going to get a 44t and a 45t but i think im going to like the 44t better, but first i need to find a oil pan, i was hoping to find a used oil pan but not looking good so i will be getting a new oil pan. If anybody know who got one in stock let me know thanks,

I have an '04 oil pan laying in the garage right now that I was going to throw on ebay. It has been bottomed out from a nasty pothole, but it only broke the guard that hangs down infront of the plug. PM me if interested
