Um, why not just fix the leaking seal instead of trying to fit 51mm fork tubes into a triple tree designed for 43mm tubes? Get out the blow torch and sawzall and head out to the garage and get to work on it!!!

My 05 sprung a leaky fork seal. I have a set of 09 zx6r forks & lower triple laying around the garage. Would it be a upgrade to figure out how to get them on or more trouble than what it's worth? Has anyone attempted this? Would I have to change the front wheel or what ?

Could have different offset, wheel spacing etc. you will need to do a lot of measurements but could be possible. Could make it worse
