Has anyone put up an 08 subframe to an 04/05? Did it fit and if not was it very close?

Also while I'm here does anyone know at what RPM the exhaust valve opens?

Talk to EDouble. He put an 05 on an 07, he may have an idea as to what will transfer. I'd almost bet that the hole spacing is the same but you may end up with different angles.

That's the tail race plastic stuck on the standard subframe from the looks of it, and DON'T do that to your bike, please.

Even if it bolts up the differences in the gas tank shape and the lack of side panels would be a huge issue. You would definitely have to do some custom 'glassing, which isnt impossible. How much time do you have on your hands are are you willing to do the research to CORRECTLY fab up the pieces to make it happen?

You could prolly assume that most exhaust valves open (fully) above 5000 RPM - just as a general rule

glassing is not a problem....my bike is way beyond that little hiccup allready. Main thing is the angle of the subframe and how close the bolts etc are to fitting. If it fits it saves me making a custom subframe.
