Hey guys,

As most 08 owners would know (and I'm sure plenty other gens) the 3rd gen has a 2 piece subframe, the rear half comprised of a really shoddy feeling cast aluminum piece that I am very surprised can support a human's weight... a real engineering feat in itself haha. In my accident I definitely tweaked this piece, and I guess my question is how sturdy is the front half? It seems to be a pretty diesel piece, but it does look like my right passenger peg is pushed in, which I would imagine put a good amount of torque on the front half of the subframe. Does anyone have any experience with wreck-repair on these? Or does anyone know a sure-fire method for checking the straightness?

Thanks guys.
