:clap:First, I apologize is this is in the wrong section.

But I am COMEPLETELY new to the sport bike/Zx10 world. I just traded for this 07 ZX10. And I'm super pumped. :welcome:

Bike has roughly 16000 miles, all stock minus extended blocks.

When the bike is idling and while riding, there seems to be a ticking/rattling sound coming from the engine. When I get close to it, seems to be coming from the right side, right under the gas tank.

Any ideas?

I have been told it could just need a valve adjustment?!?

Bike rides great. No power loss or smoking.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Timing chain probably. All 10R engines are noisy. You can either deal with the sound or get you a manual adjuster for the timing chain and it'll go away.
