CAn anyone be specific about what the deal is with 06-07 exhaust options? I mean there are plenty of great looking GP style cans and growlers out there for 04-05 and 08-09, but as far as 06-07 the picking is slim. I love the look of the 07 tail section, but the exhaust is just a bit too bulky looking as is the OEM exhaust of the new R1's. So I am wanting a decent bolt on can that accents that ass... Oh, and if you guys are still having trouble with the front brakes being too spongy and non responsive, do the 07 CBR 1000 RR conversion as listed somewhere on this forum. I got mine in this morning and holy S*#T it works as long as you shim the calipers out to allow for the larger rotor...

Racefit makes a growler, hp has a side mount, bricks has a new alienhead sidemount full system, muzzy has a gp style sidemount full system, and there are plenty of folk who have fabbed other cans and systems on.

my boy has the full muzzy gp exhaust and that thing pulled 8-9hp over the stock cans, but keep in mind if you dont have the money you can always make your stock cans shorter and remove all the crap inside them ect. Friend did that before his muzzy and he got just as much power out of doing that to the stock cans vs. any slip ons, like 2hp removing all crap and running race baffles

I like the look and the sound of the arrow system. Too bad I don't have the funds for them.

Now THAT is fakkin' TIGHT right there.

IMO one of the best things about the 06/07 is the options we have for exhaust. We can keep it undertail, go single side or leave the double barrel, go with the low single GP style, dual or single side mount...a lil sumpthin for everyone.

The only thing wrong with these bikes off the showroom floor is the damn front brakes, but my boy Ervins has found the fix for that.

:+1: TO THAT! especially Ervin's fix. But i do wish we could go single centered under tail exhaust too, i don't see why it would be any more difficult than running it on the side. i just loved my 636's rear end :leghump:

Ok fellers, after much search, here is what I came up with. It appears to fit nicely tucked up and short which is what I am after. I like a few of the side mounts such as the GP series, but this way sexier to me... Check it out and tell me what you think. They also have another one that fits under the bike, but I am skeptical of how it performs through the curves...
