Hello All,

I just purchased an 04 and just noticed a weird sound I didn't notice when I test rode it. It has 19k on it (-1 +2) geared, and a cut devil high mount exhaust.

As soon as you turn the key in the ignition, you get the "whirring" sound. Well it sounds like something mechanical is moving and squeaking really slowly.

What is it that happens when you turn the ignition on?

Quick - thank you for the reply. Are any of those critical? The bike runs normal to me, and it does sound like it's coming from underneath. Anything to be concerned about?
