Been doing great here, getting ready to have the Fam (both sides) show up at the house on Christmas. Should be a real shindig. :beer2: She's in the spirit alright- hats, sweaters, and even elf ear hair bands lol
We're ok here, it's Houston that getting hammered right now. Our son is there and is currently sporting a moat around his place. Told him to build a drawbridge and get some dragons for his castle.> But momma has been beside herself worrying about him and her Argentine family that's living in H town. They are all ok of course but she sees the news. Be sure though that if they needed me my ass would be there.
Its getting bad around us road wise. The Honez ranch is just getting a new lake though so far. Were on the top of a hill so our house won't be in danger unless it's a biblical flood and the world is under water
Yeh, I am just now realizing how much there is to learn at the track. I never believed I was a great or fast rider but I never understood how much there is to learn! I watched one of my interlocutors race at homestead (I believe that is Miami correct?) there a while ago and that seems to be a high speed course. I am just trying to be like a sponge bud lol!
I did, was amazing. I did the FSUPD Course for first time riders and it was incredible the amount of information they provided. I want to go every weekend but alas my wallet and GF would probably want to strangle me. Hopeing to get to another track though before the summer is out. They were telling me that I really need to try and make it to jennings, the best in Florida in terms of the event and a more technical track. Thanks for asking bud, hope all is good with you.
I wouldnt be totally surprised if it did well. Its a funny ass little car that does its job well. Ive had it for 7 months now, put about 10k on. Lol. 26mi one way to work is killer. I definitely feel you about the car though, not expensive, but performs its task without a problem. Love that aspect. Miss my WS6 though, that was a fun daily.
Niiice .My friend gets a discount on the stuff, so I went with the whole thing. And its CARB approved out here. I just wanted a bit more intake noise, I ended up with a lot and its hilarious to me. Totally worth it. Sounds like a brake upgrade would be great. This thing already stops hard, so more performance, why not? Lol. How is towing with it? I wouldnt expect the Fiesta to be as capable as the Focus .
Nice nice. The only thing Ive done to my FiST is a K&N intake. The bypass valve when I let off the throttle is so loud now, its hilarious and I love it. Gives me a laugh whenever I drive the car, which is a lot. Comical. Then again, so is the car as a whole. Hows the stopping power with that setup?
We had the AIM for most of that, the other stuff we logged with our box, some data of which was duplicated, but some stuff is specific to us and what we needed it to do.
Some guys are now using the pro boxes to monitor that other stuff that the AIM typically does along with suspension travel, braking force, etc and put that data into .CSV formats for importing into programs like DashWare that will overlay those variables on top of video feeds from the race. I played with it a little bit a few weekends ago just from logs generated scooting around town here haha.
As far as acccel/lean angles/etc that is the purpose of the log box pro addon I was in the middle of developing. It monitors all 6 axis for acceleration and rotation. But, work being what it is, I have barely time to get changed for the day let alone work on fun add on projects like that haha.
GPS, I'm still trying to figure out how to integrate that into our products.
