wyrda This is a bit belated, but I would go with the 19. 6-8 HP more and 3-4 tenths of a second faster in a 60-130 roll on with comparable mods, according to EJR Performance.

He wants separate wheelie and traction controls

palomartian Very nice bike. Bone stock it works pretty damn well. Now if I could just de-link traction control from wheelie control...

palomartian Easiest oil change evah. Thanks Kaw.

palomartian It's home. Next a Mototune style break-in Saturday, then an oil change, some DOT rubber, and a stern thrashing on Sunday.

palomartian The RR wheels don't impress me. Going with BST most likely. Had a lot of luck with them. I'm getting the 18. About $5k less locally. That's half the build.

18 R and 19 R wheels are the same. It's the RR wheels that are Marchesinis and yes, they're not really worth it as far as performance goes. They're actually heavier than R wheels but they do look dope.

19 engine has a better head and makes, supposedly, about 6 more hp over 18. To get that on the 18 motor, you're easily dropping at least a grand but probably more.

Plus, 19 won't need the transmission recall done. And of course, 19 will have better resale value since it will be contingency-qualified for 2019-2020 time period.
