scout Sorry, forgot. Yeah, stay and move once you GET a job here. I hope the wife is doing applied science like medical or engineering or education or something like that that will pay the bills.

For you, please consider checking out special ed school psychologist programs/credentials as THEY are needed, along with special ed program specialists. Boring but good salary and pays the bills. And you can sell property and and buy property and mover where ever there's a job catch. Just always have to be nice around the old ladies that run the schools these days. lol

Yep... I know all about air bubbles. The Formula/Trans Am models need to be filled and bled a certain way or overheating will happen. There were no overheating issues that I noticed. My wife overheated it a while back and it blew the head gasket. (I used blue devil and the shit actually sealed it) Since then though there have been no issues. No water in oil, no smoke, no oil in the coolant.

Found a new/rebuilt tranny on ebay for a grand. I might just do that instead of the torque converter and keep the old one to learn how to rebuild on.

Nope. We are buying a house here....remember me posting about it? Really wanted to come to California for grad school. Financially there was just no way. We'll just have to vacation there from time to time when we get the chance. :)

I'm staying at Regis and wife will probably do her grad school at CU Boulder.

mr_honez Well you don't have to worry about Grad school anymore, so that is a relief. The car can be fixed, its just a car. Sounds like your tranny overheated causing it to slip and shudder. My wheels are what they are for a 20 year old car. The damage wasn't that bad at all really.

No matter what used vehicle I get something will break eventually. It's just so odd how it all broke. Like a chain reaction.

Yeah, will be nice to get a new car at some point. Then I can maintain it and I won't have the worry of not knowing how it was taken care of.

MrMoto73 Damage isn't all that bad. Blown hose set....140 bucks. Torque converter 300 bucks. New belt 40 bucks. Now I have something to do this weekend....again. Lol
