guys I apologize for this being kindof a newb question but I need some input.
I know countryhill covered it in the newb thread but I just need to be thorough...

Regarding full exhaust systems for performance, I;m torn between the akrapovic, yosh r-77, and leo vince... Obviously yosh is cheapest but is there a reason for that?? Does akrapovic really provide the best performance results on the road? also I've heard the leo vince system gains 2 more hp over akrapovic on gen 3's..? But if yosh is so inferior, why does Makita rockstar suzuki run them on Matt mladin and tommy hayden's AMA bikes?

I obviously want the most performance but is there really that much of difference? Please be easy on me with this dead horse topic..

In the race game, everyone has said that it comes down to numbers...

Sadly horsepower isn't the only number that matters to race teams. It can also be who paid more to have their name on a known contender on the track.

I personally run with a Yoshimura full race only because I got a great deal on the system. I would have prefered the Akra (purely for name brand reasoning), but wasn't willing to pay up to have that honor.

I say pick up the system that you like for the sound and looks, the performance aspect (+/- 2-3 HP between the lot of them) will mean absolutely nothing to really anyone on a street ridden bike or the occassional track day junkie. The only thing the HP numbers do is inflate the size of your dick when the measuring tape comes around.

For street riding....It all comes down to price, looks, personal preference,etc....I've had a Leo Vince,Yosh,Akro, but now run a full Arata.........just get the one you like and will be happy with "overall"
