hey guys, I'm new to the board and new to the zx10. I just got a two bros carbon full system, but the pc5 I ordered is being delayed......will there be a problem with installing the exhaust now and running it that way for a couple weeks without the pc? any chances of running too lean? BTW, I have a '09.

thanks......

Well, 1. Are you planning on having it tunned on a dyno or just loading map from here? 2. Are you installing the exhaust your self or at shop? It would be much cheeper if you are taking it to the shop or if you value your time to do them both at the same time...You could put it on early it would not hurt anyting if you did...There would be lag and the bike would seam slower off the line but it would not hurt anything. Hope that helps...

Its not rocket science to install a pipe(remember the copper o ring in the exhaust ports)Take yer time and torque to spec...
Installing a pc3 is a lil harder but nothin serious as long as you follow directions...
Chances are it will not hurt anything to install the pipe and pc3 later but save the grief and do it all same time...All ya gotta do is have 1 cyl to run lean and yer screwed..
Seeing no two bikes are the same i personally would have my bike mapped, not the genere off any site...Its ok if you use auto tune and use a genere to start but its yer call..

i dont know what these guys are talking about!!!

installing a "full system" is actually quite easy!!!!!! only thing which was sorta diffucult was removing the radiator so i wouldnt damage the fins....and i really believe you can install the full system w/o installing the PCV....i rode around that way for a long time but to maximize your gains and everything i suggest you install ASAP...plus it will run better.
BTW installing the PCV, the hardest part was removing the seat and 2 side black fairings..other than that that shit was plug and play

also if you need any help bro just pm me and i can help walk you thru some of it...good luck
