Thanks again for that mastercylinder, it saved my ass this morning. Before my bike wouldn't do a stoppie no matter how hard you tried, now is another story. Headed south on I35 this morning I ran into a little traffic. I was going a little over 55mph when i glanced at the merging traffic next to me, and when i looked forward the car in front of me was stopped about 75 feet ahead. So I grabbed a hand full of brake and the rear tire instantly came off the ground(but it felt progressive) w/ the front tire chirping for traction.
That is only the second time the rear tire has come off the ground(1st time some one cut me off) and I didn't have time to think about it, but it felt great! Just thought I'd share my close call w/ you. If i had the old m/c on there, I am positive that I would be sharing a crash story. I'll be doing a track day at TWS on the 10th, and can't wait to give the brakes a good workout. I also changed out the OEM pads w/ some EBC HH which provide a lot more bite then the stockers. Time to go boil some brake fluid!
