SOLD: 2004 ZX-10R, Street or Track, Loaded & Ready to Ride

Bike is SOLD. Thanks for looking.

INTRO
The 'widowmaker' generation with the "it accelerates like a raped ape" power band--nothing else like it. As you will see, I took this 1st Gen to the next level--a real head turner and ear-to-ear smile-inducer. It has been my one and only bike, used 99% on the street, with a few days at the track. Do not be fooled by the race look, this bike is street legal.

HOUSEKEEPING ITEMS
1 - Title: Clean and in hand.
2 - Why am I selling? because I'm building a 600cc race bike--and it's not cheap.
3 - What does it need? Nothing whatsoever.
4 - Can it be ridden on the street? Yes, I currently commute to my office with this fine machine.
5 - Who is this bike for? Anyone looking for a potent machine with monster power.
6 - Who is this bike NOT for? New riders. You would have to be EXTREMELY careful.
7 - How many Miles? 27,000 (and 26,000+ of those are commuting on the street)
8 - Do I know the entire history of the bike? Yes, it was loved its whole life.
9 - Absolutely no test rides without cash and signed waiver in my hands (I have the waiver)

WHAT DOES IT NEED?
Absolutely nothing. Ride it home after you buy. Hell, go on a cross country trip--just make sure to send me pictures.

THE GOODIES
- The MotoGP Transmission that everyone loses their minds over. Yes, this bike has it. Built by specialists out of Florida, the internals are backcut and cryo-frozen for pure happiness in every shift. It's 90% as smooth as a quickshifter and worth almost as much as the bike itself.
- GPR V1 Steering Stabilizer
- Area P Slashcut Megaphone exhaust. Deep and ruthless--watch the video.
- Adjustable rear sets, anodized gold.
- GIpro Gear indicator
- TRE (Timing Retard Eliminator, a go faster goodie)
- Steel braided front brake lines
- Clutch from EBC (recent)
- AMA Race spec fairings, with cutouts for the street lights.
- Double bubble windscreen
- Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs with fantastic tread (less than 2 months old, only commuting)
- Extended no-cut frame sliders
- Flush mount rear turn signals
- Race grips for your hands
- StompGrip for the tank (clear)
- Tank guard for your jacket
- Key guard for your gas tank
- Single beam DOT-approved headlight
- (1) OEM taillight installed and (2) Integrated taillights not installed
- Two keys
- Original rearsets (not installed)
- Original exhaust, black (not installed)
- Original mirrors (not installed)
- Original tire hugger, painted orange (not installed)
- Original Kawasaki manual
- Various GoPro mounts will be left on the bike
**Aftermarket Parts add up to more than $8400, but I'm eating 100% of that cost with this sale. It would cost you well over $14k to build this bike, and that price is taking into account that you would buy used bike/parts for that build.

HEALTH
I would not hesitate to ride this bike across the country, tomorrow. I am a maintenance freak, surrounded by other maintenance freaks, and it shows. I built this bike with the intention of keeping it forever.
Tires = Superb
EBC chain = Great
EBC clutch = Superb
Sprockets = Great
Brake pads = Great
Valves = Superb, just adjusted by Southeast Sales, receipts avail.
Spark plugs = Superb, just replaced, receipts avail.
Brake discs = Great
Battery = Superb
Motor itself = Superb, never missed a single beat.
Suspension = Superb
Oil = Just changed, and changed every 2.5k miles.
Anything else I can think of = Great

FAIRING CONDITION
You'll see in the photos that the right side has minor scuffs from a <15mph slide in gravel. Little nicks here and there from the pebbles. I took all the fairings off for inspection and there was absolutely positively no structural damage from the slide--damage is purely cosmetic. The asking price of the bike already reflects this minor rash. The blemishes would easily be cleaned up with some sandpaper and paint which I still have from the paint job, but I prefered the battlescarred look--call me crazy.

ADDITIONAL IMAGERY
A video walk around can be seen here.
More photos can be seen here.

LOCATION
Milwaukee, WI. Easy-to-get-to downtown area.

PRICE
$4999
Negotiable.
