GUS <> Little suggestion: I would post the financial details of the raffle. By that, I mean documenting whatever Escrow service or raffle company/website you intend on using to collect, hold, and manage the funds during the raffle. Obviously, people's main concern is fraud, and they (we) are just looking for some assurance there is legal protection to their investment as most of us can't just throw $100 at the wall & hope it sticks.

That said, I'm still very interested in seeing this come to fruition. It's an exciting prospect!

Also, you can't edit the post because you don't have 25 posts, yet. It's a Forum rule thing.

GUS <> My pleasure on the rule update, and as for Paypal, I reckon that's exactly why this has zero traction. Anyone with half a brain realizes you could simply walk away with whatever monies were transferred to you w/o your ever producing the bike. I'm not saying your a fraud; I'm saying fraud is a reality, and a transparent structure that provides for legal recourse in a scenario like you present is paramount when soliciting a $15,000 transaction.

I'm crazy busy with a new job, but I had to stop in here to give my mind a minute of R&R. When I have time I'll look into a raffle venue, or maybe another interested party will jump in to offer a suggestion.

I see the bike on FB Marketplace right now for $22,500. I could never do that, but a chance for it @$100 is worth the dream.

I'm confused.... isn't the point of this raffle to sell off the bike? What other point is there to do it? Unless you're promising to give up the proceeds for some sort of charity.
