Canada only. It is exactly the same bike as a Ninja 650R but with a sleeved-down engine and different transmission ratios. Weighs within 1 kg of what a 650R does and only costs $1100 less.
Only reason for its existence in this form is as an insurance-beater. In some provinces here which have government-run insurance, there is a large step in insurance rates at 400cc and above. Insurance here is a very substantial (and ridiculous) portion of vehicle ownership cost.
Helibars, MRA screen, Ohlins damper, reversed shift pattern, sorted suspension, braided lines, Michelin Pilot Power, all else stock 'coz it's fast enough!
