Slider contest I **Winner Alien10**

Hey, all you '08 owners out there, here's your chance at fame and fortune. OK, just the fame part....
Champ91 wants a "How To" for his website showing installation of his Main Sliders. Easy peasy, just tell us how you do it and document it with pictures. Winner to be determined by Champ91. If your "How To Install Main Sliders" is selected, you'll have your work seen world wide on the www. Oh, that, and you'll also receive a set of his Swing Arm Sliders for your troubles. So get after it and show us that technical writing class that you had to take in school finally paid off!

The Prize:

A set of Champ91 swing arm sliders.

The Rules:

Write and photo document the installation of a set of Champ91 Main Sliders on an '08 model ZX-10R. This is the only installation permitted. No other bikes or sliders may be entered.
Winner will be chosen by Champ91.
Winner gives Champ91 permission to use the "How To" on his web site.
Contest ends midnight CDST July 4th.
Contest starts with the posting of this thread.
Good luck!

Pointless to those with out the 08. A FREEBEE to those that do. I dont have an 08 so I cant get it done quickly. Its extreemly easy install and very self explanitory. But some people feel better off with pictures.

I have some extra time today to give this a try - is the contest still open?

A hole has to be made for the silder base to pass through and bolt to the frame. It is recommended to use a laser pointer mounted on a camera tripod. Aim the laser into the center of the factory bolt and replace the fairing. Mark where the laser lands on the surface of the fairing. Remove the fairing and use a step-bit to cut the hole in the fairing.
