I received the WRONG prize!

I know this might be same as the old thread... but no one seemes to reply over there, maybe because of the title of the thread.

did you even try to contact Clear Alternatives, they are the one's that sent you the wrong part not the MODs

call them. If it shipped from them they will deal with it. I have never had any real issues with them when I bought the stuff directly from them...OK except for the delay in getting out my '08 tail light :) Had to call them for that too, but a call did the trick. They tend to run about a week or so delay in answering email.

Yes, Lucky, you need to follow up with them. To me it was probably a simple mistake somewhere between the model/year info passed to their order department and the guy who picked and packed your item. It happens. My guess is they will be more than happy to make it right.

After 3 emails, I got a reply.

Their reply was only one word and nothing else.
"address?"

So I gave them my address. Maybe their going to send me a new one.
But how would I know, the reply was only "address?"...

IF I do get a replacement...
I will send ask them if I can keep the other part, and then I will donate it to this forum for a new contest...

UPDATE:

I got a reply from clear alternatives and they are 100% willing to resolve the issue.
I emailed them three times and only got a reply on the third. Im almost certain that their SPAM filter ate up my 2 first emails.

So they asked me why I never tried to call their 800 number and I told them that I wasnt making this issue a big deal since I NEVER PAID for it, I WON IT FOR FREE!

For this kind of thing, I never even expected for a reply, and guess what, I DID GET IT!
AND I ALREADY HAVE A TRACKING NUMBER!

So the mistakes here are HONEST MISTAKES.
WHO TO BLAME ? No one.
It could've been that when the MODS here in the forum asked for my Bike Model, they might have given Clear ALternatives the wrong info.. Or maybe I did. Or maybe the Parts guy in Clear Alternatives themself.

But anyway, I am happy that my part is coming soon and I can finish my bike!
