zx10 air sh*ter problems

my air shifter is missing 5th and 6th gears. Is the clutch be slipping a little? Does anyone have a air sh*ter (9oz CO2 bottle) on their 10 that had problems and if so could you tell me how to correct it - kill time, through on shift cylinder, more weight on lock-up, pressure to shift cylinder. Any help would be appreciated. Somtimes it will miss other gears, but last time out just 5th. Help it driving us nuts, we have the same shifter set up on all kinds of other bikes and it works great, just not on the 10s.
Thanks,
Mike

I have the Pingel electric shifter and i've noticed the same thing. in high RPM's it wont go into gear right. I have to back out of the gas a little to allow it to shift. Is there a recommended kill time to get the best performance out of auto shifter rather they are air or electric???

I have talked to several people and more than one said its probably clutch plates slipping, so I have re-installed my weights on my lock-up and Im heading to the track tonight to test I also moved my kill time from 70 mil to 90 mil / sec. with 160-170 psi in the shifter. I will let you know how it goes.

Alright I think I got it, 1st pass I tried 145 psi and missed 5th 2nd pass tried 165 psi and didnt miss a shift for the rest of the night even on nos - so its -- Muzzy lock-up with alum. bolts, 90 mil/sec's with 165psi. Our other zx-10 is having the same problem with the same set-up (except no lock-up), we checked the clutches and had a bad stack ht. so install new clutches. We will try that 10 this weekend, but Im almost positive that the reason for miss shifts were mostly because the clutch was slipping in the top of the high gears (5th and 6th).

What gears are you guys running to get into 6th gear at the end of the track? I'm one down on front and 5 up in the rear. But then I'm at 4,200ft elevation too.
