Your first run on a bike

My first run;

2.98 60ft.

14.0 E/T

118mph

Missed 3rd gear every time.

I asked a guy in my MSF course what his first run ever was. He said "11.2." Yeah right. You have to be doing things pretty well to run in the low 11's. No way a first timer would do that. Maybe if you treat the road like a race track I suppose.

13.80 at 114.

Pathetic, forgot to put my visor down, could not get my left foot up to shift in time.

Mine was 11.2xx with a crappy 1.7x 60' on my last bike an 07 gsxr 600. Why do you say no way someone could run that? And no I'm not bragging that's not too impressive

14's on a liter bike is pretty bad. I ran 11's my first time on a 600 and 10's my first time on the ZX10R

I ran 14 in my Sti when I had it lol. 3200lbs with me in it, 295whp with a 1.6 60ft(gottah love 4wd:-) )

Very curious what I would run on my gen 3. To lazy to go to the Thursday night runs they do at the 1/8th mile at irwindale. Need a 1/4 strip ;-)

Low 11s on my old ZX9R stock height not very impressive compared to what the bike was capable of but my MPH was very high 135mph......we all start somewhere the key is seat time learning how to setup and launch...hang in there it can get addicting

First run on a bike was [email protected] 2001 cbr600 f4i. Just lowered it and went 10.73. Bike was bone stock even exhaust and gearing. Can't remember 60' and all that it was around 9 years ago. I do remember I won $20 from a co-worker that said it wouldn't hit 10's lol. Fun little bike to learn on I miss it sometimes. Just keep blasting that thing down the track and your confidence will grow and your e.t. will shrink.

Similar 60's as the OP, but high 12's north of 130 the first couple of runs. As I started to get the hang of it, the clutch wouldn't allow me to slip it at all.

Best time of the night was a [email protected] on a 2.1 60ft(see clutch not allowing any slip)

I big ended a GSXR K8 in the bracket part and even took home the runner up trophy.
