bg, how do you line that sidewinder on the street? and how much of your fairing did you have to cut?

Honestly, my relationship with the sidewinder has been love/hate. It looks great, sounds awesome and let me get the bike a lot lower. But, I think it actually hurt power some compared to my full Yoshi (definitely lost torque) and required a lot of tweaking and fitting to get it to fit decent (even buying it brand new). Had to do significant cutting of the fairing as well. Had more than the 1/4" clearance Brocks recommended and the plastics still flex and melt on the pipe. So I may ditch the lower altogether for next year, we'll see.

As for using it on the street I can't really say. Bike isn't registered so I don't really street ride it. Just quick blasts up and down the road to test.

I'm pretty excited to get mine straightened out and start hitting the sauce and see what she'll do. Not going to have a garage full of bikes to work on this winter. Finishing up the new garage right now and then I can just focus on my hot rod.
