whose running a 520 chain

Anyone running a 520 chain on their 10 for the track. Im thinking about running 16/45 (,1+4) on mine with a 520 chain but not sure if it will hold up, dont want to take a chance or are other people running it.

I run the ek zzz 520 on my bike with 16/44 sprockets. I am stretched about 5 inches, and dont have any problems with stretching or anything, and i leave the line at 8500-9000

I made a bunch of passes on a buddy's 1k with a 520 and never had any problems with it, granted it only had extensions on it as well.

I had asked the same question last year and alot of people chimed in but some told me not to run the 520 on a bike that I strictly use for the strip, so I stuck with the 525. I was also wanting to see if anyone had the difference on dyno sheets between the two just to see if it really helped that much but never had any hits on that one. Good luck

It wont last as long as a larger chain.
But i do run 520 an never had a problem.
Never felt any gain from it though.

I do not participate on the strip, but I have had good luck with the Supersprox and DID 520 ERV3 Chain for my track weekends. I am on the same chain and sprockets since '06 but that is only one weekend a month during the summers. I will be changing them out this yr to the exact same.

I'm sitting a 68in on a 30 shot, and hadn't had any issues. I'm about to switch to 530 and step up the gas, its been on the bike for 50 passes or so. 170 links EK ZZZ with 15/43 &48 sprockets, make a offer if interested
