first off if your serious about racing that bike you need to get some adjustable lowering links and raise the forks up threw the tripple clamps. You dont need to put a streach on it unless you want to. I ran consistant 6.2's and on my 06zx10 with no extentions and stock exhaust. Also only had that bike to the track for about two maybe three months, before the cold weather hit and it got swipped one night. it just takes seat time and clutch work. I burned my first clutch up in that bike too.

What rpm are you leaving at? How far out r u featherin the clutch? How far out are you before your at WOT?

trust me i am serious about drag racing, that is what i bought the bike for, i will start racing it in the pmra this year. Sorry i didnt mention but i do have adjustable lowering link. its going to be in a bracket racing class so the extensions will be to make the bike more consistant. dont come back and tell me that i can be consistant on the stock arm, i know i can. but can anyone really say that extensions would make you less consistant NO!! i raced a 2000 zx9r last year and this bike is much harder to get off the line than the 9. i cant leave as hard as i would want to on the stock arm, When i tried it just came up on me. i was leaving at about 6000 rpm slipping the cluch out the hole and giving more gas at the same time, trust me i know how to launch a bike and i know my best bet is seat time. i just want to know what you guys think it would do with a 6 inch strech!!

the reason you cant is because the bike is lighter and has alot more power than that 9. I think a 5.9 on a zx10 with a 6inch strech is easly reachable.

I have an 07 10 w/ roaringtoyz extensions stretched about 6 or 7 inches. Lowered, strapped, muzzy M10 w/ PC, Gipro w/ ATRE. I usually run high 6.20s. I also weigh about 230lbs suited. I have a buddy of that has run a 5.59. He weighs about 160 suited. Just my 2 cent.
