what rpm to launch at?

lowered 2 inches and strapped, swb, stock gearing, pcv, full brocks short meg, and 2 step. not real sure where to set the two step ive been trying everything from 5-8k and i still cant seem to get my 60 foot down. im 6'2 and all of 230 fully suited so im just wondering if someone had some good advice on where to set it. i also have a set of asv levers and am wondering if that might not be some of my problems

Cant help you im 200 stock wheel base and height, launch at 6k

You with stock gearing and lowered should be launching pretty high.... i think Gadson said he was launching at 10k with the 4 gen on stock gearing?

"The ZX-10R is capable of being perfectly docile and tractable, but few men are capable of resisting its ever-present voice urging them to just twist it and see what happens."

Still learning mine but started at 6000 and slowly working my way up to 8000. I'm 170 no gear and down -2 (15t) up front, stock rear sprocket, stretched 7", lowered 1 1/4 front and 3 in the rear.
Had a chance to race 2 Friday nites and went from 1.95 - 60 foot to a 1.70 a few days ago. Still got alot to learn obviously.

I leave between 9 and 10k but i'm 7 over, more gear will help. Start at 6k and work your way up until ya wheelie the tone it down a bit. Just remember to slide the clutch don't throw it, and get full throttle asap. If your gonna drag race often you should have your inner basket welded to disable the slipper.
