Went to Topeka

So this weekend we trailered down some bikes from Omaha to Heartland Park in Topeka. First pass on the 1/4 mile was 10.8, second pass was 10.4 and third was 10.3. I ended up only getting down to 10.3 @ 145mph a couple times so that's my best. Even with traction control on this thing is a wheelie monster so my 60ft and 1/8th mile times could be improved with some more experience on the track. Also they had a scale there and fully geared on my bike it weighed 617lbs.

Flash, pc5 w/ tuning link dyno tune, graves slip-on, -1 +1 superlite RS7 sprockets, rifleman insert, saddleman seat, lots of other odds and ends.

It's still stock height, I'm considering strapping the front but at the same time I'm not a big drag racer. I'd like for the bike to not be modified too much in favor of one type of riding. I want it to be able to do street, drag, road coarse riding at any given time.

If that's what your looking for a strap for the front is perferct and you'd be surprised the difference it makes . Just strap it down when you go to the track and release it when you leave. And mos lowering links have different settings you could pick up a set and lower it shen you go to the track and then raise it back up to stock height when your done in about twenty minutes!! Good luck

I had similar mods and ran a 10.3 aswell.
I've just bought a strap and lowering kit and I'm heading out next weekend.
I really hope it makes a difference on the launch because my launches sucks.
This was my time slip.

Update: I went to the local 1/8th mile track this friday and ran consistent 6.90's and had my best pass at the end of the night at 6.85. I wish I was doing that in topeka, i'd like to know what my quartermile could have been. Still stock wheel base and height.
