Shifting to 6th on the nitrous!!!!!

Ok I have a mps airshifter setup and Im running a 40 shot on a stock 2006 zx10.I set the delay in the kill box large. Ever since I did the nitrous it hasnt wanted to shift to 6th gear.It shifts fine on motor runs, but on spray it wont go for shit. Im thinking about doing a RC's Race Cut Transmission. Im tired of not running the numbers it should because of a shifting problem, any reviews on that tranny set up from them?? Thanks

shifting

The reason why it does not want to shift is because you are spinning the tire. That is why it shifts fine without the nitrous because you are not spinning. You can get the transmission race cut to help, but if you are spinning it will still shift inconsistently. Mike.

nitrous cut

call rc or mark at r&d motorsports, they offer special nitrous cuts, above race cut, and shift drum mod for nitrous at 40 shot and above. r&d has been in the race transmission business forever and they are the best. im sure u got this covered, but ive seen std., not high pressure, bottles drop too much pressure to shift 6th after 5 shifts.

I used to had that same problem back in the day, on my R1 with a 60 shot, same as above bottle pressure @130 and kill time set right and you should be good. Also, i had a window switch set up, so that nos selonoid was kill right before the shift point...maybe something to consider also.
