Second time to the strip

Well went to the strip for a second time. 1/8th mile, bike was like my old one basically just got it a week ago. Gen4 11' 10r stretched, 64" wheelbase, -1 +5 gearing ecu reflash air filter tune pcv clutch springs n clutch quick turn throttle insert brocks pipe and lowered like 3", foot shifting. Only rode the bike a little bit, never practiced launching it and never launched a stretched bike in my life lol. First pass was okay, 6.02 very first time launching a stretched bike, wheelied outta the hole and let out a smidge then got back in it, hit rev in first wasn't used to having to get my feet up that quick. On the last two buddy started talking about trying for a good r/t so I had a good r/t my last pass. I didn't know the cut off was 6.30 for nhra license, i thought it was under 6.00 so I was waiting to get kicked off as a buddy has been before with both his car and bike. Had solid gains the whole way, until..... (cont to post two)

On the last pass I passed the line started to brake, and I HAD to of hit something slippery/gravel not sure what happened but I wasn't braking that hard and the front end just completely washed out. Still don't know why... It sucks yes, my hand kinda sucks but the gloves were FIVE years old lol and already starting to tear. My jacket was a few years old looks like the seam came apart and that's what happened to my elbow. I didn't wear my work jeans like I should of, MUCH thicker, had pretty thin jeans on and amazingly enough the ass wore through but not my leg, so not even sure how my leg got rash. So as it sits, first time to track bike blows up in flames on way home, second time bike catches something slick n goes down at end of track, not a good record.

PS anybody know what cover that is that's fucked up so I can buy a new one?

Touche lol. In all seriousness tho a few buddies experienced the same issue as I did in that lane after me so I think someone leaked some shit on the track. Not like the bike will be down long tho.

I have a question about the times tho, my 330' is consistently 3.9 I think it was bogging in first gear after 60' but, on the very last run, my buddy on a 600 did a 3.5 330'. How can he be so much faster in the 330?
