rookie drag racer with a beast

Hey guys, just wanted to stop by and say hey.. i ride an 04 zx10r--7"extended, lowered about2", bmc filter, yoshi trs. pc3, butterflies removed, exhaust servo elim., short stacks, geared-1&+3. vortex rearsets inverted for more legroom----i nick-named it "EL coocooi"--in spanish, it means the boogeyman----cause it scares the crap outta me :), definatley the fastest vehicle ive driven....growing up from klr650's, suburbans, and vw bug's.

i plan on getting an air shifter, and a 30-40 dry shot kit....just saving up for a radiator(leak)
i'm 6'6" and about 300lbs suited.--i'm a biggen

before all of the mods, i ran her in november in stock form it ran 11.25 @130mph, 2.0-60' ---i had a real problem with popping the clutch, then it bogs.

im hoping i will break into the 10.999 mark(will die a happy man)
im also planning on changing gears and running it at the texas mile in october

once i drop in a new radiator, plan on heading back to the strip this friday for a lil test and tune.....if anyone is in the san antonio area that would be willing to show me some pointers, that would be cool!

anywho...thanks for listening to my rant...will keep u guys posted on how i do

Good looking bike 10.999 shouldn't be a problem at all even with like a 1.8 60 foot. A few people are running a 15 tooth I'm sure but I'd ad more to the rear instead..

coool. i think im just going to go both routes and get a 15t & a 44/45 tooth rear to play around with in the 1/4 or 8th.
gonna have to go back down on the rear when i run the mile though--
also, quick question- in the 1/4- what tire psi's should i run?, im on a michellin pilot rear for now, till she wears down, i'll get something more suitable.

thanks for all of the help guys!!

Also, i just had my radiator pressure tested---its leaking in about 15 different places, they said its due to electralasys(sp?)
so if any of you have an old radiator laying around, will be willing to buy it off of you.

Gen1 have LONG 1st gear so -2 is must unless you have 1st gear mod and helps save on clutches you want have to slip clutch as much. since your stretch 20psi would be good start might have lower it more if you havin tire spin but you wanna run much psi possible without havin traction issues.
