removing radiator fan

do any of you drag racers have your radiator fan removed? just curious because my new exhaust doesnt clear my fan and instead of dremeling my bracket i was wondering if i could just remove the fan altogether.

My bike is a drag bike only and NEVER sees the street

do it, will save 2 lbs :-)

I used to not roll around with it on my 04 10r during the cooler months of the year. As long as you dont get her to hot you'll be fine

The fan only hits when over 210degs....if your running that hot the bike should not be running in the first place the ZX10Rs run best at 160deg anyway.

Ι have my fan removed and I use the bike on the streets also, just not in heavy traffic.

You should be fine in a drag only bike.

So I suppose a dry block bike is OK to start it,go to burn out area, perform a burn out,line-up and make a pass?
