Ram air tube mods?

Has any one modified or does any company make replacments for these tubes that feed into the air box. This is obviously my first 10 but I'm not new to modifying to get the most out of bikes. I feel that Kawasaki did a piss poor job on the ram air for a bike that actually has more than enough speed to utilize the ram air effect. Also has any one sanded away the ridge inside the frame where the air splits around the steering neck? I wasn't sure if once sanded it would leave a gap. That ridge just makes quite a disturbance for the air to flow.

Man, I haven't heard of carbon fiber boxes. Do you know who makes them. In the mean time I'll try to search it.

I cut part of the boot that goes into the frame , leave the ridge that snaps into the frame and cut the rest , not sure if it did anything but it looked better to me !!
