new to launching a bike

My dad got me into drag racing when I was about 8 or 9 and for some reason or another I never really tried it on a bike. I was screwing around the other day and decided to give it a shot and it is the most fun I've ever had on a bike. My launching from a dead stop still isn't that great but I can launch pretty decent from about 10 mph now. I guess I'm trying to get comfortable and work my way down.

Are you strapping the front or just going for it?

I haven't strapped it or changed the suspension settings yet, I've just been going for it. I haven't gotten to ride since sunday but this weekend looks good. I got my TRE in today and I'm saving for the black alien head full system, power commander iii usb, bmc race air filter, servo buddy and dyno tune and I also want to lower the bike a couple of inches. I'm just going to wait until I have everything so I can install it all at once and only need one tune. I'm not going to do it during this riding season, I'll wait and do it during the winter and it will give me more time to learn before I start changing stuff up.

Had a TRE on my busa, actually slowed me down at the strip. ATRE would be a slightly better option or GPS mod works even better.
Time on throttle, practice and have people give you honest critiques. Can get good fast, just takes effort on your part.

They have pictures of the exhaust on different bikes on the brock's site but none on the 06-07, found a video on youtube and it does look easy to burn a boot on the 10 too. There isn't anybody around here to give any critiquing, I haven't even seen a bike at the drag strip in a very long time, probably two years. I have friends that ride but they only care about turning, seriously. On the highway they ride like grandmas (the last time I rode with them we got passed by an old lady in a prius) but when we hit a back road it is game on. I do have one friend into drag racing but he is just getting started as well.
