lowering forks in trees on 07

hey guys just wondering what everybody does to lower fork in trees ?? from what i can see i cant lower that much more with forks,maybe 1 inch or so (because of taper on forks ) is there someway to get around the taper ??? thanks

Don't worry bout that, just lower it where you want and tighten bolts.

I've got mine pushed 1.5" through and had no problems with them tightening up

Bump...

had the same question with my 08. I haven't seen 06-07 forks up close...I'm guessing it's the same? The clipons will still be tight enough with the tapered part?
