A little more 1/8 mile action

Just an update for those following along ..

I'm getting a little better with the clutch on this zx10 ...Three trips to the track i have dropped from 6.57 to 6.50 and tonight i got down to 6.40 .... 60 foot times have dropped from 1.75 to 1.71 to tonights 1.68 ....So i'm making some head way .....I'm dropping numbers at about the same rate i did my zx14 back two years ago ...
Mods are lowered and strapped ,Stock gears , pump gas 89 octane and foot shifting... I really need an air shifter , i'm having problems getting my foot back on the pegs just like i did my zx14 ... Hey i'm 51 years old and things don't work the same as they did at 18 ...lol...

More to come ...Planned mods are .... 62 inch wheel base , air shifter and the all important Brocks Street Meg and race map ...

this may sound dumb to some people but when I race I dont Superman over the the bike. I put my body forward while still keeping my legs as far forward on the bike as possable this when when your launching the bike your not fighting g's as much when you move your legs and feet BACK to the pegs instead of forward fighting the acceration of the bike. It works for me. try it.

Yes i have tried that and thanks for the info because i'm sure it will help others .. My problem stems from a bad hip that puts me in ugly pain when i lift it to the peg ...The pain is so bad that at about the 330 mark i have to remove it from the peg a straighten it out to get to stop the pain ... Not real good for good ETs ..

try keeping your left foot on the peg and keep the bike straight with your right leg on the ground

keep it up, I got my air shifter on now i cant wait to see how much faster i can go now, man its hard geting your feet back on the peg to shift, and to me it it makes the bike move around a little.
Keep us updated with your case to the low 9.0s
