i finally got to run 1/4 mile

fixin to build a new setup so ill throw some times out.after fighting setup trying to figure out a gear all day i went a 8.46 at 155mph.this is a stock clutch/engine bike with just a head and 50 shot dry.i rolled off a good 25-30ft before the traps so im sure it would have went faster.im also a 190lb rider suited.

gearing depends on hp and weight,i couldnt tell you in the 1/4 but in the 1/8 i put it into the 5.7x's just playing with setup during mid summer(110 deg fl weather).i sprayed it shortly after and i never looked back.im sure it would step into the 5.6x's easily now with weather cooling down.my 60ft's are usually 1.33-34 bike sits at 69 inches with the 16-41 gear.i figured the 1/8 mile split would suffer when i ran 1/4 because of the tall gear i had to run but the bike actually went faster

thanks bud i should trap some high 5.3x's fri night.starting to see bearing matter in the oil pan so i either gota get new bearings in it soon or build my other engine.im truly addicted to nitrous but its hell on a engine.im toying around with buiding a stoke bore(cp piston/crowler rod) setup and putting a 75shot to it so i dont have to re-port the head.im already in need of a lockup because my setup doesnt mph like it should.its always something.keep me informed of when you get that rocket of yours done so i can come watch it get down the track
