how to improve 1/8 times??

First time at the drag strip since I got my 4th gen, SWB with full exhaust and a flash. First time out launching this bike, how can I improve? I know I can get my 60ft lower but I feel like where I was lacking was taking to long to hit wot. Any tips???

I did have a strap, and stock height
1/8 6.66
60 1.77
mph 120

I tried launching at different RPMs, but my best runs I was aroung 7500-8000

try adding lowering links on the rear and experiment with tire pressures to see if it will improve your sixty foot.

What is your gearing? And the bike should be lowered in the rear also.

Yes. What was already said above... You can get some lowering bones and just lower it when you go to the track, then raise it back up when your done if you want. Only takes maybe 20 minutes. Definitely add some gear but the biggest thing that will improve your times Is seat time. How many passes have you made? Just get use to the clutch and keep practicing
