Horsepower Bet need some gestamates

So we were talking at the job and I say I think my bike makes 175, now I work in a mostly Suzuki shop. So there's always some sh*t talking and rivalry going on. We haven't agreed on a amount but the bet is that if it makes less than 175 I lose, more than I win. It'll be late next week before we can shut down the shop and hit the dyno. What do yall ballpark I'll put down? Its a 3rd Gen low mileage stock bottom end, -.015 deck .55 hg, carpenter valve springs, 08 race cam intake, 04 intake for exhaust cam, flies and rod removed from the throttle bodies, no air filter, and a full muzzys pipe. The bike has 15/43 gearing with a P1 tire and will tune on U4.4. It also has a Bazzaz zfi, had run a [email protected] 1.42 60' with the stock header 145lbs rider

Ya should be knocking on 175's door bro but make sure them zuk boys don't fiddle with the dyno before you strap her down!! LOL be sure and keep a update on what happens and I'm still on the hunt for that 520 45 tooth sprocket for ya. If worse comes to worse then hit me up a the shop Monday or on my cell and I'll see if I ca put hands o one right then and there. My 04' with less mods than you have listed almost hit 165 HP after a custom tune/map at secret service auto shop on the SW side if town. so I hope you can get an extra 10 out of yours and show them boys what's what!!! Give em hell!!!!!

...what did it put down stock on said dyno? If it baselined @ 140ish then I would think that's a bad bet. If it baselined in the 160's then you have a pretty good chance. :)

Attack life... it's going to kill you anyway.

My flashed ecu went bad towards the end of last year, I put a stock one on and went from high 5 80's to low 70's in the 1/8mi. I think it'll will go 60's now that I got a full system.

I would say it mostly depends on the dyno, some are generous some are not.

if unfamiliar with the dyno, it would be smart to ck ahead and see what other 10's or comparable bikes make on it since u have thrown a number out. this will tell the story. figure about 2.5-3% lower if they do sae reading over std., that's about 4-5 hp. request std. #'s. also that p1 can lower hp reading 5-10 hp and is not recommended for dyno use due to heat and adhesion. well worn medium compound will give best numbers. dyno shop should be able to to give u a print out of other tens run there so instead of leaving with just a meaningless number wheather high or low, u can more accuratley compare your 10's engines power to other local tens. 1/4 mile mph indicates u are right there untuned on a fair dyno and u should pickup some hp tuning. mr12 is a pita, but can make several hp over u4.4 from 6k to redline. it is nitrous unfriendly, requires a tune not compatable with other fuels, and $$$. good luck.
