Holy Cow!!!!!

I came home from work too late to get the truck and trailer out. But on the spur of the moment, I put on my new gear for the first time and rode 25 miles to Gulfport Dragway tonight!

Thanks Mike at Riders Discount, the suit fits well, and its warm on these cool nights.

So, I was able to make two runs down the track, 13.55/114 was the best.

And rode it home. At least 114 is faster than my car.

No burnout, almost no launch, and way slow on the pick the feet up on the pegs and shift! Leather pants are stiffer than I thought. Maybe put the visor down before launch. Fourth and fifth runs ever on a bike, and the first since 1973!!!!

But, wow, this is fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The old guy likes this!

Wear the leathers around the house. Cleaning, misc maintenance & chores, picking up after the kids, etc. It will break them in. Just don't let the neighbors see you, they might think you have a couple screws loose if they see you walking around outside in a leather suit. :)

Yep, the 10R, and yep, my 82 Mustang typically runs quicker.

But ya gotta start somewhere!

Oh, the guy kneeling in leathers in the photo has a 9 sec ZX14, and has been racing since 72. He ran in the 5's in the eighth last Sat trying to win a run on your dial event, at 6.00. (Ratrod race, 1/8 only) I watched him run a 6.02 on a 6.00 dial!

Speaking of addiction. op do you like Starbucks?

09' Ice Blended Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino
10' Venti Mocha Latte spilled some of it, was too hot
11' Peppermint Mocha W/Extra Shot of Espresso
12' Eggnog Venti Latte
13' Bagel
14' Standard Drip (since a Venti latte went up 20 cents)

I love Starbucks, but since I am being sequestered, I can no longer afford it!

Probably the drag racing additiction is stronger and has been around longer.
